Convocation

Towson University will welcome students to campus at New Student Convocation at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 in TU Arena.

New Student Convocation Ceremony

The New Student Convocation ceremony occurs during Welcome to TU each fall. All incoming students, first year and transfer, are required to participate in the program. Family members and guests are welcome watch the ceremony online.

This event is followed by our TU class photo tradition and Roar Rally in Unitas Stadium.
