Getting Involved

Even if you live off-campus, Towson University has plenty of ways to stay connected to your campus!

The Office of Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility, assists students who are living in the greater Towson community. We work to create opportunities for off-campus students to stay connected to campus as well as emphasize off-campus safety and how to be a good neighbor.

Additionally, we provide resources to students considering moving off campus. Our Off-Campus Living series includes events and workshops that educate students about the importance of choosing the right roommate, navigating leases, locating housing, and utilizing public transportation.

Each semester, we offer opportunities and events specifically for TU's off-campus students.

Off-Campus Living Series

These informational sessions are geared toward off-campus students and touch upon a range of topics including:

  • housing searches
  • signing leases
  • finding roommates
  • touring apartment complexes
  • self-defense classes
  • post-graduating preparation, and much more!
