The Tutoring and Learning Center also offers workshops specific to topics in biology, mathematics, chemistry and physics. Achieve the grades you want with the help of these workshops. We offer a series of engaging, interactive, and process-focused STEM workshops in which students learn and apply strategies designed to help them feel more confident about learning. Led by a Learning Specialist, the emphasis is on techniques for purposeful and efficient learning. Students apply the strategies to their own course materials whenever possible during the workshops and, ideally, make a one-on-one follow-up appointment which builds upon what they learned in the workshop.
