Student Employment

Towson University offers a large campus in a vibrant community that provides a wide variety of on and off-campus student employment opportunities.

Visit the TU Career Center for information on available on and off-campus jobs.

In addition to the job opportunities that are available to all students, we also offer Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program funds to a portion of our students with high financial need. This program creates additional job opportunities by providing additional funding for these student employees. If we are able to offer you FWS funds, they will be listed on your financial aid award notification.  If your award notification includes an FWS award, visit the Federal Work-Study Program for instructions on how to search for a FWS job.  One of the FWS job options is the TUTORS Program, which provides paid reading and math tutoring jobs at a local elementary school.

Graduate students can also pursue graduate assistantships, which provide stipend pay and tuition waiver benefits. Available positions include research, teaching and administrative positions.

We also strongly encourage students to pursue our many Internship opportunities, which can provide valuable experience that is relevant to your major/career. Some internships are paid and many provide academic credit.

In addition to paid positions, TU also offer many opportunities for Service, Engagement, & Leadership including:
