Holtzman MFA Gallery

The Holtzman MFA Gallery in the Center for the Arts focuses on thesis exhibitions and new work by students and invited guests.

The Holtzman MFA gallery serves as a catalyst for creating dialog in the classroom and the community. It is located on the second floor of the Center for the Arts. All exhibitions are free and open to the public. Above are examples of recent MFA Thesis Exhibitions in the Holtzman. 

The gallery is open to the public on Tuesdays – Saturdays, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. during the academic semester. Summer hours are Tuesdays - Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. from June 12 – July 25.

Summer 2026 in the Holtzman 

The Holtzman Gallery is hosting an exhibition entitled "Eye Spy," on view Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. from June 12–July 24, and 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. August 25–September 26.

An opening reception  will be held on Thursday, July 11 from 6–8 p.m. in the Center for the Arts, with a drop-in community art workshop sponsored by the Community Art Center.

A family friendly summer celebration will be held Friday, July 24 from 5–7 p.m. 

A final reception will be held on September 17, with research presentations by MFA research grantees and a reception celebrating TU Alumni. 

All events are free, ADA accessible, and open to the public

Summer at the Center: That's Baloney!, Holtzman Gallery Installation Images

 

June 17 – July 25, 2025. Gallery Hours Tuesday-Saturday, 10am – 4pm. 

Food nourishes our bodies, elevates our lives and in many ways encapsulates our individual cultures and embodied experiences. That’s Baloney! highlights local artists and contemplates consumption, interrogating our culture's relationship to food, overconsumption, excess waste, and the ensuing rot.
