The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) helps job seekers across Maryland access employment, education, training and support services to succeed in the labor market. Many of our certification prep courses are approved for WIOA funding, allowing you to learn new skills and earn certifications to prepare for new careers, at no cost.
Apply for WIOA funding
There are several federally-funded initiatives available to help you enhance your skills. Visit Maryland’s American Job Center’s website and connect with a representative at your nearest local job center. They can help determine your eligibility and guide you in selecting the most appropriate program.
Most WIOA funding can take up to four to six weeks for approval, please note the process below:
- Inquire and apply at your local WIOA office
- Once approved, the workforce office will send paperwork to us for processing
- You will receive a registration email to complete
- Once registration is complete, you will be enrolled in your selected course
