The skills and knowledge you obtain from this course will prepare you to proceed with the Online Marketing Certified Professional (OMCP) certification.

Certified Digital Marketing Professional

No prerequisite is required to take this course. Anyone with an interest in digital marketing can enroll in this course. It is recommended to the folks having around 2 or more years of experience.

Certified Digital Marketing Fundamental

Upon completion of this course, you will be prepared to take the OMCA exam offered by Online Marketing Certified Professionals, and the cost of the OMCA exam is included in your tuition. Learn more about the certification exam.

There is no prerequisite to take OMCA exam, but if you are pursuing OMCA certification, ensure you have the completed the following requirements before taking the exam: 

  • Passing scores on the OMCA exam AND:   
  • A secondary degree or equivalent (e.g., High School diploma or GED)   
  • 600 hours of marketing experience  

This is if you have no prior marketing experience. 

OR  proof of completion of an OMCP-Approved digital marketing course within the six months prior to your application.

Certified Digital Marketing Professional

Upon completion of this course, you will be prepared to take the OMCP exam offered by Online Marketing Certified Professionals, and the cost of the OMCP exam is included in your tuition. Learn more about the certification exam.

There is no prerequisite to take OMCP exams, but if you are pursuing OMCP certification, ensure you have minimum experience, and education. OMCP certification requires:

  • Passing scores on the OMCP exams AND:
  • 5,000 hours experience

This can include any marketing job, traditional marketing, e.g., print, copywriting, advertising, selling marketing services, or providing some subset of marketing services to a marketing team or to paying clients.

OR a post-secondary degree plus 2,000 hours experience OR completion of an approved digital marketing course plus 1,000 hours experience. 

The instructional materials required for these courses are included in enrollment and will be available online.
