- Enroll in the Designing Your Career Plan (EDUC 121) course
- Schedule a career coaching appointment with the Career Center via Handshake
- Meet with your career coach to determine if the Strong Interest Inventory Assessment or the MBTI personality preference inventory might be beneficial
- Attend a career fair to explore career and internship opportunities
- Use Big Interview to practice articulating strengths, experiences and knowledge
- Conduct career conversations with industry professionals

- Engage in multiple internships, including for- and not-for credit experiences

Articulate your career and self-development skills on your resume and responses to interview questions.
Tailor Your Resume
- Write out your degree title and any minors or tracks you’re pursuing
- List out any special certifications or trainings you’ve pursued
- Include conferences and industry relevant professional development events that you’ve attended or where you’ve presented

Be prepared to answer common career management interview questions including:
- What have you done to become better qualified for your career?
