Internships/Experiential Learning

Why?

Students who graduate with internship experiences are more likely than students without those experiences to find employment upon graduation.

  • 81% of graduates reported that their internship experiences helped them determine their career direction
  • 93% of employers prefer candidates with internship experience

When?

Depending on your course load and where you want to intern, you can complete an internship during the academic semester or over summer break. The earlier you start gaining experience, the better.

How Many?

The more the merrier! Students who complete more internships have higher odds of gaining employment within six months of graduation.
