How did you find this internship?

I found this internship in person.

What advice on the internship application process would you give to another TU student interested in this internship?

Showing up to meet everyone in person helped me get the internship after applying.

What did you do as an intern at this organization?

I completed research on migratory bird migration, monitored sea turtle nests, and managed shorebird nesting grounds. I also visited each nest sight to locate adults and fledglings, record and manage data, and clean up beaches.

If another student at TU was interested in your internship next year, what skills would you recommend they develop in the coming semesters to prepare?

Be prepared to be adaptable, learn quickly, and follow rules closely. Develop a good relationship with the employer, so they can be a future reference or employer.
