Business Writing Foundations

Throughout the course, you will be given projects to strengthen your writing, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and career-exploration skills. You’ll also learn how to realistically assess your strengths and weaknesses and create a plan for improvement.

Most assignments involve teamwork— faculty members offer different approaches to help you learn what it takes to be successful in a diverse team. In this course, you will also develop writing and oral communication skills that will be valuable in future courses and careers. You’ll also be introduced to a wide range of college and university resources that will help you develop and sharpen your writing.
