Improve your writing and communication skills and reap the benefits not just in your classes but in your future career.
In the work environment, you need more than rudimentary communication skills to be successful. You need to be articulate in both the written and spoken word. Recruiters from all industries and sectors tell us that excellent communication skills are what set an employee apart from the rest and are strongly considered in promotions.
To ensure students graduate with the strong communication skills necessary to flourish in the workplace, the CBE Writing Proficiency Program and Writing Lab were developed by the College of Business and Economics with support from McCormick and Company.
Get help for writing materials as short as a resume to as long as a term paper. The writing lab is a quiet space equipped with computers and staffed by trained Writing Fellows who work one-on-one with you.
The writing lab in ST 117 is not open for in-person appointments, but writing fellows are available to meet virtually during the following hours:
Tuesday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Wednesday 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
