Student Ambassador Program

Develop your leadership skills and promote the College of Business and Economics as a Student Ambassador.

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) Student Ambassador Program is a selective professional development opportunity for CBE students who are enthusiastic about the college and want to enhance their communication and leadership skills. The goal of the program is to share the CBE experience with prospective students and their families, serve as special event assistants and represent the voice of the CBE to the Dean. 

Applications will reopen in March 2024 for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.

Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly with the CBE Dean or Associate Dean to serve as the voice of the CBE student body
  • Attend a monthly meeting of a CBE Administrative Committee to represent the voice of students
  • Interface with CBE student organizations to ensure important information is disseminated and the CBE leadership is aware of activities and events
  • Attend scheduled events (e..g., alumni events, student recruitment events) to answer questions about and positively promote CBE

Weekly time commitment: Approximately 5-7 hours a week

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate student in good academic standing with a major within the CBE
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude about CBE and Towson University
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with prospective students and their families 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
