Business Admin Major: Investments

 

Earn a degree that will set you up to pursue the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential, recognized worldwide for excellence in the profession, with the business administration major and a track in investments. This degree provides you the necessary skills to manage assets placed in capital markets, including security analysis, investment strategies and portfolio management. Students in this track find positions in the wealth-management field with careers such as research analysts and client relationship management.

As part of the program, you will learn Tableau, StockTrak, and As a part of the program, you will complete the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) Essentials Certification for Equities, which certifies your skills with Bloomberg terminal technology, the global standard in financial and data services, which will give you a competitive advantage.

Admission Requirements

Business administration is a screened major. Students are admitted to the business administration major (BUAD) only after successfully completing a set of required courses with a C or higher in each of those courses and an overall TU GPA of 2.0 or higher. See all admission requirements.
