Analyze the data, answer the questions, create visualizations and win scholarships in Towson University's Data Analytics Competition.
Data analytics is all about taking raw data and transforming it into usable information. By using different techniques, software and algorithms we can find trends and define metrics to guide decision makers.
This competition is about doing just that. You will be given a large amount of data and several key questions that need to be answered. Using your skills and any data analytics tool of your choice, you will manipulate the data to find the answers. Then, you will design a visualization and brief report to present your findings. Ten finalists will be selected for the final round, where they will present their findings, in person, to a panel of judges.
