Towson University's Nursing Program is approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing. The Department of Nursing is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, Council of Baccalureate and Higher Degree Programs of the National League for Nursing, and the Council on Collegiate Education in Nursing of the Southern Regional Education Board.

The Undergraduate (baccalaureate) and Graduate (master’s) programs offered by the Department of Nursing in the College of Health Professions at Towson University will be reviewed by a team of program evaluators from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for re-accreditation in fall 2018.

The onsite review team will be at Towson University from Monday, November 5 to Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

CCNE policy mandates that the department provide an opportunity for faculty, students, colleagues, constituents, and the community of interest to submit written comments to the visiting team. Written and signed third-party comments will be accepted by CCNE until October 15, 2018. Please include your name, address, telephone number, and email address when submitting comments.  Your comments will not be shared with the hosting program.
