Community connectors are a cohort of TU students dedicated to developing strong leadership skills by guiding peers through community-based projects with a focus on sustainability. Students grow as leaders while positively contributing to campus and the surrounding community.

Community connectors lead participants through hands-on projects and collaborations with local community organizations. Projects may include micro-planting, creating community spaces and preparing community gardens.

Application for Community Connectors

The Community Connectors Fellowship includes attending a one-day retreat, participating in workshops and leading peers through community visits and reflection sessions. Trainings take place on Fridays and community visits are on Wednesdays.

The overall time commitment is approximately 55 hours over the course of the academic year. The fellowship is work-study eligible. Fellows are paid hourly.

The application form will be available here in August.
