Programs

The Baltimore Community Archaeology Lab (BCAL) offers summer programs available to college students, K-12 students and K-12 teachers.

In collaboration with our partners, BCAL holds summer programs that allow multiple constituencies to expand their archaeological knowledge and experience. These programs include:

Students excavating a dig site

College Archaeology Field Experience

Students perform all functions as research assistants, including manual labor, recording and data synthesis. Work is conducted on legitimate archaeological sites under the direction of a principal investigator.
