Enrollment Management Summit

The second Annual Enrollment Management Summit will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024.

The First Annual Enrollment Management Summit was held on February 17, 2023. Dr. Cynthia Cooper, Interim Provost, welcomed attendees. She was followed by an inspiring Keynote Address from Dr. Falecia Williams, President of Prince George’s Community College. Dr. Boyd Bradshaw, Vice President for Enrollment Management, spoke about enrollment trends both nationally and locally. Dr. Bradshaw shared results of the strategic enrollment planning process conducted in 2021-2022, which provided a framework for comprehensive and collaborative institutional enrollment planning.

A Strategic Enrollment Management Council was formed to prioritize, review, and implement recommendations resulting from the strategic enrollment plan. The Council is comprised of high-level stakeholders from all areas of the campus. The Council has two sub-councils:  The Student Recruitment Council and the Student Success Council. Dr. David Ownby, Associate Dean of the Graduate School and Amy Moffatt, Assistant Vice President for Admissions co-chair the Student Recruitment Council and shared the priorities for recruitment and enrollment over the next three years. Co-Chairs of the Student Success Council, Dr. Clare Muhoro, Interim Vice Provost and Dr. Anthony Skevakis, Dean of Students shared priorities focusing on student success, retention, and graduation. Dr. Vernon Hurte, Vice President for Student Affairs shared remarks to close the Summit.

The Summit was well attended with over 100 guests representing all colleges and divisions of the university. Attendees left the Summit with a better understanding of strategic enrollment planning and a shared vision for the recruitment, retention, and graduation of TU students.
