Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Mathematics offers the two majors and a minor:

The Mathematics Major offers four areas of concentration, depending on interests and career plans:

• Pure Mathematics
• Applied Mathematics
• Actuarial Science and Risk Management
• Mathematics Secondary Education 

The Computer and Mathematics Sciences Major is both focused and flexible, with options that will prepare you for careers in government, business, industry and education, or further study in graduate or professional school.

The Department also offers a Minor in Mathematics, designed to enhance major programs to which mathematics is applied.
