What We Do

Human Resources Systems and Services delivers exceptional HR systems support that enhances the employee experience, ensures data integrity and enables strategic decision-making across Towson University.

System Management

We manage and maintain TU’s core HR platforms, including PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM), Taleo, and other systems in collaboration with the state of MD. 

Records Processing

We process and safeguard employee records using Taleo, PeopleSoft, Perceptive Content, and HireRight for confidentiality, accuracy and compliance.

Current Initiatives

We’re continuously working to improve the HR experience at Towson University. Current projects include: 

  • PeopleSoft Upgrades (PUM): Enhancing system performance and user interface with the latest version rollout. 
  • HR Data and Metrics: Create advanced HR Dashboards and reporting documents in the future. 
  • HCM Modernization Initiative: Many at TU value updates to our HR technology,  campus resources and addressing change fatigue.
  • CPB Modernization: Upgrading central payroll systems and processes in collaboration with the State of Maryland.
