Parking Permits
TU's Parking Services manages permits for students, faculty, staff and visitors across campus.

Whether you're purchasing a permit, hosting a campus guest or looking for the nearest visitor lot, this page is your starting point for everything parking-related at TU.
Parking Permits
A valid parking permit is required to park on Towson University's campus during enforcement hours: Monday–Thursday, 6 a.m.–8 p.m., and Friday, 6 a.m.–3 p.m. Reserved, accessible, prohibited and safety-restricted spaces are enforced 24/7.
Permits are virtual and tied to your vehicle's license plate, so accurate plate information at registration is essential. Towson uses a License Plate Recognition (LPR) system to verify permits. Vehicles without a front plate must pull forward into spaces so the rear plate is visible.
Purchase a Permit
- Students: Purchase a permit and view rates on the student parking page.
- Faculty and Staff: Purchase a permit and view rates on the faculty and staff parking page.
- Visitors, Department Guests and Vendors: Visit the visitors, department guests and vendors page for daily permits, guest codes and vendor access.

All permits are purchased through your eParking account using your TU NetID and password. From eParking, you can also add or update vehicles, appeal citations, and make payments.
Parking in Commercial and Residential Areas
Students, faculty, and staff should avoid parking in nearby commercial lots or residential communities while on campus. Many of these areas restrict parking to patrons or residents and actively enforce those restrictions. Vehicles in violation may be fined or towed.
Before you park, confirm you're in a zone valid for your permit type. Campus parking signs are color-coded.
