Towson University operates shuttle routes both on and off campus to serve the campus community.

Winter Session Modified Shuttle Service

Winter session modified shuttle changes will be in effect starting on the last day of finals. Modified minimester shuttle service will begin Monday, January 3, 2022 and end Friday, January 21, 2022. For more information, see the TU Today for routes and service hours. Please note that no service will be provided Monday, January 17, 2022.

Connect Charter 

Towson University provides both on and off-campus shuttle service when classes are in session. We also offer Paratransit, SafeRide and charter bus services.

On-campus shuttles run only during the fall and spring term. Off-campus shuttles operate during the fall and spring term and on an abbreviated schedule over winter, spring and summer breaks. See the shuttle routes and nearby MTA bus stops on TUTigerRide

Holidays, Inclement Weather and Emergency Closures

Campus shuttles do not operate when Towson University is closed for holidays or inclement weather. In the event of university closure due to inclement weather, shuttles will continue to operate one hour after the specified closure time, and begin operation one hour before the university re-opens, provided it is safe to do so. Please visit the Emergency Closing Information page for more information.

Departure and Arrival Times

All published scheduled times are departure times. Times are estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather conditions and construction. Real-time shuttle information is available on TUTigerRide. 

Riders are expected to arrive at their bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled departure. The university is not responsible for delayed arrival times. Drivers are not permitted to make unscheduled stops. 

Baltimore Collegetown Shuttle

The Baltimore Collegetown Shuttle service will be in operation from Aug. 30 through Dec. 18, 2021. For more information or to view the schedule, visit the Collegetown Shuttle webpage.

The Loop Shuttle

The Loop shuttle offers free service within Towson's central business district. There are two routes sponsored by Baltimore County. Service will begin in fall 2021.
