Parking and Transportation Services is committed to providing sustainable transportation options to the campus community. The program incentives can not only save you money, but it can also help lower your environmental impact.

Sustainable Transportation Programs

Sustainable Transportation is any mode of transportation that is considered "green" or has a low environmental impact. View the options below to see the different types of sustainable transportation.

As part of the university's sustainable transportation efforts, TU's Parking & Transportation Services also provides an Sustainable Transportation Program. Participants in the program do not purchase a parking permit; instead, they commit to use one or more of the following forms of sustainable transportation to get to and from campus. Benefits of Sustainable Transportation Program

Every TU community member who is approved for the Sustainable Transportation Program will automatically receive the following:

  • Free Parking Codes - Four free parking codes each term that can be used whenever you need to bring a vehicle to campus.
  • Guaranteed Ride Home - Subsidized taxi or car service rides or short term rentals for when you must leave campus unexpectedly.  This service can be used up to four times per calendar year.
