Children of Incarcerated Parents Discussion & Book Drive

Guest speaker will discuss the impact of parental incarceration impact on children and the family. Attendees are encouraged to donate $20 towards the purchase of children’s books to be donated to children with an incarcerated parent.

The Fair Chance Community of Practice hosted an open conversation about what’s next for the CoP. Participants were encouraged to share their ideas for the coming year.

The Fair Chance/FACET Community of Practice hosted a film screening of “It’s Criminal,” a documentary highlighting the economic and social inequities that divide the U.S. by sharing the life-changing journeys of incarcerated women and Dartmouth College students working together to write and perform an original play that explores the often painful and troubled paths that landed the women behind bars and shares some of their fragile visions for the future. Joined by the filmmaker, Pati Hernández.
