Student Giving

Gold and Black Giving Back is a campaign by Towson University students, for Towson University students. It is a chance for students to give back to the place that provides them with all of the great opportunities that make them a Towson Tiger.

Gold and Black Giving Back was launched in November 2014 by the Presidential Ambassadors. The Presidential Ambassadors ask current students to give up one less coffee or burrito and use that money to support an academic discipline or student life program that is meaningful to them. In doing so, students in 2015-2016 collectively donated over $24,000 back to Towson University. Through events like Doc Hug-a-Thon and The Great Pumpkin Smash, students have an engaging method of making a difference in the future of Towson University.

As a student, you can donate to any of the Towson University Foundation's more than 650 funds. You can give to a study abroad program, an academic scholarship or a campus life program by which you have been impacted. Not sure where to donate? Choose the Towson Fund. The Towson Fund has influence on every aspect of campus. Show your Tiger Pride by making a gift today! For more information contact .
