Health Center

The Towson University Health Center provides health and wellness services for registered students including immunization services. The following health center  information specifically pertains to international students.

New Students:

  • Please review your immunization requirements and submit the required immunization records prior to beginning classes.
  • All new international students are enrolled in University Health Insurance. Please make certain to waive your University Insurance prior to beginning classes as most international scholarships provide private health insurance for their respective  students and dependents. You may do this by completing the University Insurance Waiver.

Counseling Center

Towson University’s Counseling Center is the source of personal counseling and mental health services on campus for students. Call 410-704-2512 or stop by the Counseling Center to arrange for a private meeting to discuss your concerns. Counseling Center services are confidential, and for most, free of charge.

Religious Services

A variety of faith communities are present on campus through support staff assigned to the University. Our campus ministers advise religious student organizations and provide personal ministry in counseling, theological discussions, and support students in other areas. Please find further information through Campus Ministries

MUSLIM STUDENTS:

  • Towson University provides weekly Friday (Jummah) Prayers throughout the spring/summer/fall semesters. Prayers are located on campus in the University Union, Room 316 between the hours of 1:20 p.m. and 2 p.m. For more information, please visit the Muslim Student Association (MSA).

The Writing Center

The Writing Center assists students of all levels to develop and organize their thoughts, sharpen their focus, and communicate their ideas more clearly and precisely. They support writers with any type of writing project, whether a PowerPoint presentation for a sociology class, a lab report for biology, or a resume for a summer internship. To make an appointment, please visit the Writing Center.
