As an incoming first-year student, there are many things to learn and do as you begin your undergraduate journey. Here are a couple of things you'll want to learn about before you step foot on campus for orientation.

Advising in the First Year

All incoming TU students will participate in the First Year Experience (FYE) advising program. Learn more about what to anticipate before you transition to campus.

Academic Interest Form

The Academic Interest Form is mandatory for all first-term freshmen and allows professional advisors to create your schedule.

Advising at Orientation

First year students will meet with a professional advisor at orientation to discuss their selected schedule and to answer early questions they have regarding their transition.

Advising in the First Year

Throughout the first year at TU, students will participate in the First Year Experience (FYE) program, where they will work closely with a professional advisor trained to assist them throughout their transition from high school to college.

Summer and Winter Orientation

All newly enrolled students will participate in an orientation event that will help acclimate them to the TU campus and provide information on campus resources and majors.
