Here are the next steps you need to follow to get ready for your journey at TU.
You must complete an online pre-orientation module 48 hours prior to your scheduled orientation date.
Freshmen who have not yet completed their orientation can register for our final orientation date on August 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm EST. If you are unable to register for this date, please email newstudentprograms AT_TOWSON. Freshman orientation will be held online where you will meet with your orientation leader via Zoom. Check your TU email one day prior to your scheduled orientation for log in information.
Incoming students are invited to join these opt-in panel sessions to further connect with other incoming students and campus partners. For each session, students will need to register with their name and TU email- registration links will be posted the week of each session. The schedule for the panel sessions is as follows:
Thursday, July 16: Academic Colleges and Undecided
Thursday, July 23: Housing and Off Campus Living
Thursday, July 30: Building Community Spaces
Thursday, August 6: Building Community Spaces Part 2 (African American/Black, APIDA, Latinx, LGBTQ+, Women, Religious Identity)
A live session will be offered at 4 p.m. EST on each of these days.

New Student Orientation is a mandatory program designed to introduce you to TU’s academic expectations and help you meet fellow incoming students. You will learn about your course schedule, academic standards, living on/off campus and what it means to be a part of the TU community.
No. The Office of Academic Advising registers new first-year students for the fall term. You must fill out the Academic Interest Form in order for advisers to place you in classes.
Yes. You must register your guest at the same time you sign up for your New Student Orientation session. Each guest will attend Family Orientation and will not attend student-only sessions.
