“TUCD excels in a way I haven’t experienced at other dance programs. Their teachers combine top-notch training with a true nurturing environment. All dancers, recreational through those who want to be professional, thrive here.”

-Andrea Weir, mother of three TUCD dancers

TUCD's three distinct programs — Children’s Dance, Adult Dance and our Pre-Collegiate Program  play a powerful role in the growth of many young artists in the state of Maryland.

Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD), the TU Community Dance program promotes an appreciation of the aesthetics of dance as an art form. It offers dance movers, educators and enthusiasts a stimulating and inviting environment to develop their technical excellence and deepen their artistic voice through a multifaceted curriculum.
