Admission Requirements
Students interested in majoring in accounting begin as pre-accounting students and are paired with a faculty advisor. Advisors work with students to help them stay on track and meet the requirements for admission to the accounting major. When students are eligible for review, the College of Business and Economics evaluates their qualifications and communicates their admission decision via email.
In order to be admitted to the accounting major, students must meet the requirements for their designated catalog year.
