Human Resources Certification (SHRM-CP)

Students in their final year of study who have earned at least 500 hours of internship and/or practical HR experience are eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP exam to earn the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Professional credential. SHRM-CP credentials distinguishes human resource management professionals and signals a high level of knowledge and skills.

The department offers a MNGT 470 Special Topics in Management course in both the fall and spring terms to help students prepare for the exam.
