The Theatre Arts Department awards scholarships for continuing theatre students through the following endowments.
The exact amount of the awards is determined yearly, and ranges from $200 to $3,000.
Some scholarships are for a single year, and some are renewable.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit rather than financial need. Awards are for the academic year beginning in August 2017. The money is credited to the student's expenses by semester and the recipient must meet all eligibility requirements each semester.

To apply for a scholarship, you must:
1. Complete a scholarship application form.
2. Include an unofficial transcript from Towson Online Services.
3. Electronically submit the form along with the transcript by 5:00 p.m. on February 6, 2017.
Application Submission Procedures
To submit an application online, download the Scholarship Application (RTF). You can then open the form with your word processing program. Type in your information, save the file as your name.rtf (for example Jay Herzog's file would be titled "herzog.rtf") and attach it to an email to theatrescholarship AT_TOWSON.

Transcripts may be obtained through Towson Online Services. Simply copy the text of your transcript, paste the transcript inside a word processing document, save as an .rtf file and mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will receive a confirmation email when your application is received. If you do not receive a confirmation email, contact department chair Robyn Quick, rquick AT_TOWSON, to verify that your application was received.
