The Richard E Burdette, Jr. Scholarship

 

Eligibility and Criteria:

  • Junior or senior status enrolled in a major program housed in the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics.
  • Enrolled as a full-time student (at least 12 credit hours).
  • cumulative GPA above 3.5
  • Demonstrates significant continual leadership and service to the University through student organizations, University committee participation, participation in study abroad programming or outstanding contributions to campus life.

Award Amount:     $2,500 one-time non-renewable.

Application Procedures:      To apply submit your resume (include your TU ID#) and a one page essay detailing one or more of the following

  • Describe how you have demonstrated significant leadership on campus; explain how it has contributed to, or improved the campus community and affected you as a person.
  • Describe the University committee you have participated in; explain how it has contributed to, or improved the campus community and affected you as a person.
  • Describe how you have contributed to campus life; explain how it has contributed to, or improved the campus community and affected you as a person.
  • There are three options for submission:
