Welcome to the Office of Institutional Research.
We support institutional enrollment management, assessment, program review, accreditation, and academic planning by collecting, integrating, analyzing, and reporting varied institutional data and information. We also respond to requests for institutional data from state and federal agencies and other external organizations.
Our Fact Sheets and Fact Guides provide concise, high-level information about the university's student enrollments.
The most commonly requested student data, such as enrollment headcounts, race/ethnicity, gender, and graduation rates are found on our Student Data & Analysis page. We also publish these data as interactive and visualized data sets.
We also submit a number of data points to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). You find data for Towson University and other institutions at the IPEDS Data Center. Many of their data sets go as far back as the 1990's and sometimes the 1980's.
