Student Parking Rates & Purchases

Students must have registered for classes and have their housing assignment (if applicable) before purchasing a parking permit.

Fall 2021 Permit Sales 

Purchase your fall 2021 parking permit beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, July 26. Parking permits for the 2021/2022 academic year or term may be purchased online through eParking using a credit/debit card, bursar account, or C.O.D.

If C.O.D. is chosen, the permit must be paid for in full within five business days at Auxiliary Services Business Office, located in the lower level of the University Union. Permits may also be purchased with cash, check or One Card Retail Points in person at the Auxiliary Services Business Office.

Use the "Bursar Transfer" Option to Purchase Your 2021/2022 Academic or Fall 2021 Term Permit

Need to purchase a parking permit for the fall 2021 term or 2021/2022 academic year? Use the Bursar Transfer Option, and the cost of your permit will be added to your student Bursar account. The Bursar Transfer Option will be available through Feb. 11, 2022.

When purchasing your permit, just click on eParking and choose Bursar Account for your method of pay. For additional information, contact uPark@towson.edu.

 

 

If you elect not to purchase a term or annual permit, then daily permits will be available in designated general visitor areas beginning August 2, 2021 through ParkMobile and at pay stations. Daily permits on the main campus in general visitor areas for will cost $12/day. Daily parking will be available in Overflow spaces at the Stadium lots near the SECU Arena & Johnny Unitas Stadium for $6/day.

*Note: Permit rates will be prorated weekly, beginning the first Saturday of September 2021 for annual and fall term permits. Exact amounts will be indicated at time of permit purchase.

No refunds will be available for weekly and monthly permits. Weekly/Monthly permits expire 7 calendar days/30 calendar days from the date of purchase.

No refund for annual or spring term permits after the last business day of March 2021. No refunds for fall term permits after the last business day of November 2021. All requests for cancellation of permits are submitted through Auxiliary Service Business Office online form: Parking Permit Exchange/Cancellation Request

(Last day for pro-rated refunds for cancellation of annual and spring 2022 term permits will be March 31, 2022. Last day for pro-rated refunds for cancellation for fall 2021 term permits will be November 30th, 2021. )

Special Permit Rates

MOTORCYCLE PERMIT RATES 

If it’s your only vehicle, you pay half the applicable permit rate. If it’s your second vehicle, link it to your primary permit. These permits must be obtained in person at the Auxiliary Services Business Office. Resident students are not permitted to have a second vehicle on campus.

GRADUATE ASSISTANT PERMIT RATES

Students must have a full-time, 20-hour graduate assistantship or two 10-hour assistantships to apply for a faculty/staff permit. Upon verification of your graduate assistant status, you are eligible to purchase a faculty/staff permit at the lowest faculty/staff rate. Please see rates for Faculty/Staff parking permits sold on a prorated basis.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Those associated with some special programs are eligible to purchase overflow or evening permits only. Individuals should check with their specific program administrator to determine what type of permit they are eligible to purchase.
