The Faculty Academic Center of Excellence at Towson (FACET) was created by and for Towson University faculty. We support an inclusive and collaborative faculty community and foster a culture of excellence in scholarship and teaching.

FACET’s programs include a Faculty Fellows program; partnerships that advance research and teaching; workshops and resources to support effective pedagogy and faculty development; mentorship for career growth; and emerging technology support. This work will expand further in 2027 with the inauguration of a state‑of‑the‑art Center in the new Smith Hall, focused on advancing teaching, scholarship, and innovation.
