Project Serve is a 3-day community service experience for 100 freshmen and transfer students; volunteering in Baltimore City and County before “Welcome to TU” orientation begins.
Thank you to our participants and student leadership team who made Project Serve 2018 a success!
Check back in May for information on Project Serve 2019
In addition to community service activities, there will be several team building exercises, social activities, and a celebration banquet. Students will be split up into ten groups of 10 students serve at various local non-profits and homeowners. All activities are led by trained student leaders.
Project Serve participants also have the optional opportunity to connect to our residential learning community - Tigers Serving Others. This is where students live together on the same floor during the academic year and continue to learn about and participate in community service. This exciting residential learning community is a partnership between Student Activities and Housing and Residence Life. Students who paid their housing deposit by May 1st will receive their housing assignment from Housing & Residence Life in August via their TU e-mail.
