Project Serve is a community service experience for freshmen and transfer students; volunteering in Baltimore City and County before “Welcome to TU” orientation begins.

In 2019 we served a total of 935 hours, providing an economic impact of $23,085.15 based on the Independent Sector annual rate.

Check out some highlights from Project Serve 2019!

Past Project Serve experiences have included:

  • Sorting donations at the Maryland Food Bank
  • Preparing meals at the Helping Up Mission
  • Playing Bingo with residents at the Pickersgill Retirement Community

In addition to community service activities, there will be several team building exercises, social activities, and a celebration banquet. Students will be split up into ten groups of 10 students serve at various local non-profits and homeowners. All activities are led by trained student leaders.
