8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Since Towson is committed to creating communities that encourage positive choices, we offer additional experiences specifically for students who choose to live a life free of alcohol, regardless of age. Within the Alcohol Free Community, residents will receive education and peer support for responsible living. Students assigned to this community must be committed to living an alcohol-free lifestyle. This community is a partnership between the Counseling Center and Housing & Residence Life.
*The Alcohol Free Community may be located in a premium housing rate building. If you are selected to be in this Living Learning Community you may be placed in Premium Housing.
Residents in the Alcohol Free Communities must sign the Alcohol Free Living Agreement which outlines the following responsibilities:
Each community will have a Resident Assistant and multiple Liaisons and Role Models. Additionally, there will be support from the Counseling Center and Housing & Residence Life.
Through the online housing request process, there will be an opportunity to complete a special accommodation request.
Alcohol Free Communities exist in many of our residence halls. Room types vary. You will be in a double occupancy room.
Alcohol Free Communities were established in 1998.
