Gender Inclusive Housing

Gender Inclusive Housing (GIH) is a voluntary housing option where students can be assigned to live in the same room with any other student regardless of legal sex, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation.

All students living in University housing can indicate interest in GIH. Students who demonstrate a need for this style housing are prioritized.

This housing option is offered based on availability, the student's eligibility for on-campus housing, and meeting all deadlines for submission of the housing advance payment and housing contract. Housing assignments are considered based on individual needs, preferences, and space availability.
