Once admitted to the university, activate your student email and log on to the Student Housing Gateway to apply for housing.
Information for first-time college students new to Towson University.
As of May 18th, the Housing Application shifted to a Housing Request Process. Incoming Freshman Students interested in housing for the 2024-2025 academic year must complete this Fall Housing Request Form. The last day for Incoming Freshman Students to complete a Housing Request was on Friday, June 21st at 5:00 PM. Completing this housing request does not guarantee housing.
Receiving a Housing Offer as Space Becomes Available: As spaces become available, students are offered housing via their Towson University email address with instructions on how to complete the housing offer process. Students must accept the housing offer by completing the Housing Contract and submitting a $350 non-refundable Housing Advance Payment within 5 days of receiving the offer or the offer will expire and the student will go to the bottom of the waitlist.
Students who submitted their housing contract and advance payment by the May 17th deadline must ensure they have completed the rest of their housing process.
A student who wishes to be released from this Contract prior to the first day of fall classes (the “Fall Pre-Term Period”) but who does not meet the criteria listed for cancellation set in the 2024-2025 Housing Contract (PDF), may elect to pay a Fall Pre-Term Cancellation Fee and be released. A Fall Pre-Term Cancellation Request Form must be completed and submitted by the student before the first day of Fall Classes. The applicable Pre-Term Cancellation Fee amount will be assessed in accordance with the following fee schedule below.
