Incoming Students


On-campus housing is available, on a limited first come, first-served basis. The housing application will be available Nov 1, 2019, 9:00 a.m. To sign up for housing, please visit the Student Housing Gateway.

For University Housing, you must complete the online process. This includes paying a $350 non-refundable housing deposit and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the housing contract. By paying the $350 non-refundable deposit and signing the housing contract, the student is committed to living in University Housing for the spring 2020 term.

Current Students

Just a reminder that you have committed to an academic year housing contract with the Department of Housing & Residence Life, and we anticipate your return to university housing for the spring 2020 term.

If you are not to planning return to University Housing for the spring term (as stated in paragraph 17 of your Housing Contract), you may request a release from your current housing contract ONLY for the following reasons:

  • Graduating in December/January
  • Separation (e.g. transferring, withdrawing, suspension) from the University
  • University sponsored activities: student teaching, study abroad, exchange programs, or internships, any of which are beyond a 20-mile radius
  • Marriage
  • Students not carrying the minimum of 12 credit hours

If you meet one of the criteria listed above and would like to request a release from your housing contract, please come to the Housing & Residence Life Office, (Marshall Hall, suite 50 – across from the West Village Garage) to complete the appropriate forms.

All requests for release from the Housing Contract must be submitted no later than Tuesday, November 26, 2019.  Be sure to bring appropriate documentation to substantiate your request (i.e. letter from Study Abroad Office, etc.) in order for your request to be considered.
