Department of Housing & Residence Life

The Department of Housing & Residence Life manages 16 co-ed residence halls on campus. These buildings range from modern high-rise towers and apartment complexes to two- and three-story traditional buildings. Residence hall staff members live in each building and work with students to create a community atmosphere.

Central Office and Administrative Staff

The central office staff provides administrative support for the entire department and provides assistance and services to students, parents, and the public. Our central staff leadership includes the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Housing & Residence Life, Director of Residence Life, Assistant Director of Housing, Assistant Director of Business & Administrative Services, and the three Assistant Directors of Residence Life for each of our residential areas.

The operations of Housing and Residence Life Central Staff are further supported by the Housing Facilities staff, Housing IT staff, our Finance Associate and Administrative Assistants.

Meet the Staff

Residence Life Staff

Under the direction of the Director of Residence Life, the Residence Life staff oversee all building operations. Staff engage each resident to shape their own collegiate experience, handle conduct and behavioral issues, and provide leadership and learning opportunities to cultivate holistic student development.

Each of our three residential areas is supervised by an Assistant Director of Residence Life who works with a/an Graduate Assistant(s). Our Residence Life staff includes 14 master's level Residence Life Coordinators and five Graduate Assistants, including a Graduate Assistant for International Students & Scholar Office in the Global Village residential learning community. Residence Life Coordinators supervise each Resident Assistant.
