Blackboard Learn Ultra, also known as "Blackboard Ultra," is the current interface/experience and it's automatically updated monthly through our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) deployment. This means you’ll always have the latest version of Blackboard and immediate system patches without major service interruptions.
This service and vendor documentation are cloud hosted. Updates are not controlled by Towson University.
Faculty should review the Blackboard Procedures and Guidelines . Students, faculty and staff should check browser settings to confirm compatibility, then log into Blackboard using your TU NetID and password.
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Blackboard support services follows planned and unplanned university closures. If TU closes due to inclement weather, Blackboard support will close as well.

Log into TechHelp and select the Blackboard Request type to submit a Blackboard issue or training question. You'll receive a response within 24 business hours (potentially 48 hours, during high volume times). You can also search the TechHelp Knowledge Base for self-help docs.

Book an appointment through the TU Online Reservation System. Set up a time (9 a.m. - 3p.m.) to speak with a dedicated TU Blackboard Administrator to get answers to a particular issue or training question.
