Ticketing & Patron Services

Offering tickets to events in COFAC venues, the TU Arts Box Office is available online anytime. Our team is also available to assist with transactions via walk-up windows and by phone in our main office on the third floor of the Center for the Arts from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays during regular campus operations. We also operate our auxiliary office in Stephens Hall during events in Stephens Hall Theatre. For ticketed events, all patrons are required to have a valid ticket regardless of age, including babies in arms.

Our main arts box office in the Center for the Arts is located on the third floor next to room CA 3038. 

Our auxiliary office servicing events in Stephens Hall Theatre is located on the second floor of Stephens Hall in room ST 214A and opens one hour before events for in-person service and support.

We do not adhere to a strict dress code for events; however shirt and shoes are required. Venue temperatures vary at times, so sweaters or other light coverings are recommended.

We do not allow any food or beverages in venues other than water in a closed container. If found to be violating this policy, you may receive either a verbal warning or a request to leave the venue at the discretion of the staff.

If the university is closed, events are cancelled. Official university closings are posted on the TU homepage. Information is also available by calling 410-704-2000.

If an event is cancelled or rescheduled for other reasons, patrons will be notified via email or contact method on file with ticket purchase.

Items that are found will be held at the TU Arts Box Office for a limited time. If you have lost an item and would like to be contacted if found, please complete a Lost Property Form in person or over the phone. TU Arts Box Office can be contacted via , 410-704-2787 or visited in person during operational hours.

Unless otherwise directed, the use of mobile phones, photography equipment, video or audio recording equipment of any kind is not permitted during any performance. If found to be violating this policy, you may receive either a verbal warning or a request to leave the venue at the discretion of the staff.

  • alcohol
  • animals (except service animals)
  • audio or video recording devices
  • bags/purses larger than 22" x 12" x 8"
  • food or beverages (except water in a closed container)
  • bicycles, hoverboards, scooters, skateboards, or roller blades
  • confetti, streamers, glitter and balloons (helium filled balloons not permitted in buildings)
  • drones or other flying devices
  • illegal drugs
  • weapons (common examples include, but are not limited to: knives, spiked bracelets, brass knuckles, martial arts weapons, stun guns, and chains)

Items not on this list and any variances thereof are subject to venue management discretion including actions deemed to be dangerous or inappropriate. These may include: trespassing, soliciting, peddling, loitering and fighting.

Animals are not permitted inside buildings with the exception of service animals and service animals in training. The ADA requires that service animals be under the control of the handler at all times. Under control means that a service animal should not be allowed to bark repeatedly in a lecture hall, theatre or other quiet place. However, if a dog barks just once, or barks because someone has provoked it, this would not mean that the dog is out of control.

Towson University is a smoke-free campus. All forms of smoking--including electronic cigarettes--are prohibited on campus grounds. Read the policy here.

All patrons are required to have a ticket for ticketed events regardless of age, including babies in arms.

Many TU performances offer discounts off regular price for patrons including seniors, students, groups, military/1st responders, as well as TU faculty, staff, students and alumni.

If you are unable to find your ticket on the day of the performance please seek the assistance of a team member at the box office windows.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover, as well as cash and OneCard Doc Dollars.

U.S. Mail: Tickets can be mailed directly if purchasing more than 2 weeks in advance. If a mail order does not arrive feel free to contact or tickets may be picked up at will call.

Will Call: Box office windows open for will call pick up one hour prior to each ticketed performance. A form of ID will be required to pick up.

Print@Home: Tickets for many events may be printed at home and brought to the venue or displayed on your mobile device for entry.

All ticket sales are final.
In the event of cancellation, patrons are notified via emails provided during purchase regarding rescheduling or availability of exchange or refund. If no email is on file, patron will be notified via phone number provided during purchase.

Seating times for events vary. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to curtain time. Remember to check the building, as well as the venue, where the event is being held to arrive at the correct destination.

Late seating is not guaranteed and varies by event. Seating will be offered at the discretion of the staff based on the performance needs. Some performances do not allow any late seating.
