TU Career Center Thought Leader Advisory
Your selected representative will have a seat on the new TU Career Center Thought
Leader Advisory requested by TU President Kim Schatzel, meeting three times/year (fall,
spring, summer). Advisors will assist the Career Center in planning and innovating
to ensure career-ready TU graduates for your future workforces.
Strategic Planning Meeting – With Faculty
Meet with TU Career Center External Relations, the appropriate faculty representative
from your specific area of need, and your team to explore a custom classroom engagement
opportunity and formalize a plan for 2021-22.
Academic/Classroom Engagement
Developed with faculty, Executive-level Partners will gain targeted exposure in the
TU classroom which could include guest speaking, delivering a mini-lecture, or participating
in a project relevant to your organization/industry.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Consultation
Review your current organizational Diversity, Equity & Inclusion goals/best practices
for alignment and facilitated connection to TU student organizations, outlets, offices,
programs or custom activity or outreach.
One A La Carte OR EDUC opportunity (must be at or below $500)
Choose from menu of opportunities for A La Carte or EDUC course: Career & Life Planning
(2 credit general elective) engagement via targeted marketing or classroom exposure.
(Executive Partners joining by January 31, 2021 receive two opportunities; one in
EDUC, spring 2021, and a second of their choice, A La Carte or EDUC, in AY 2021-22.)
