TU Choirs

Towson Choirs Spring 2023

There is no need to be a music major to sing with one of the Towson University Choirs. Each ensemble is comprised of an enthusiastic and passionate community of singers who appreciate the art of choral singing. The repertoire will be challenging, diverse and fun. We strongly encourage you to join and participate in our wonderful choirs.

Class schedule:

  • University Chorale (MUSA 251/451/651) meets Tuesday and Thursday from 2-3:15pm.
  • Treble Voices* (MUSA 252/452/652) meets Monday and Wednesday from 2-3:15pm.
  • Men's Chorus (MUSC 252/452/652) meets Monday and Wednesday from 2:00-3:15pm. Please contact Men's Chorus director .

Please sign up for an audition/meeting time with Dr. Sáez. No need to audition to join Choral Society.

Preparing for the auditions: Choose something with which you feel comfortable singing.  It can be a hymn, a folk song or your voice part from a choral piece.  Please bring an extra copy of the music for the accompanist. Auditions will be held at Dr. Sáez office (CA 2099).

If you are not a music major, we encourage you to join Treble Voices, Men's Chorus and/or Choral Society. Highlights this semester are:

  • Performance at the Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville, MD - Men's Chorus, Treble Voices* and Chorale
  • Beethoven's 9th - collaboration with Johns Hopkins Symphony Orchestra and Chorus - Chorale
  • Chesapeake Women's Choral Festival - Treble Voices*
  • Choral Collage - all choirs
