To keep all faculty and staff safe, and to comply with the current low density campus model, all instructor-led workshops are delivered online via WebEx or Zoom. We will resume holding in-person workshops once physical distancing limitations are no longer necessary.
Attendance in workshops is limited to pre-registered participants. Workshops, along with a link to register online, are typically advertised in TU Today and listed on the semester calendar (coming soon) on the Workshops page. Prior to the workshop, you will receive an Outlook invitation with a Zoom link to attend. Please register at least 24 hours prior to the start of the session.
You will receive an Outlook invitation to attend the workshop, at least 24 hours in advance of the start of the session.
Please decline the Outlook invitation or contact Jill Rice, Training and Development Specialist at jrice AT_TOWSON.
Typically, several workshop are scheduled each month throughout the academic year. The frequency of any individual workshop’s schedule will vary based on topic and demand. If you would like to attend a workshop and don’t see it on the schedule, please contact Jill Rice (jrice AT_TOWSON) to request that it be considered for scheduling.
Any of our workshops can be customized to meet departmental/work unit needs. Workshops can be tailored for a group’s specific requirements and issues, including a date, time, and location convenient for your work group. We can even identify a professional with an expertise to meet your training needs from internal and external resources.
This approach to development has many advantages, including being responsive to time constraints and specific concerns, and allowing employees to address problems and situations cooperatively in a way that promotes team building. For more information, send an email to jrice AT_TOWSON
