How do I attend an instructor-led workshop?

To keep all faculty and staff safe, and to comply with the current low density campus model, all instructor-led workshops are delivered online via WebEx or Zoom. We will resume holding in-person workshops once physical distancing limitations are no longer necessary.

How do I register for an instructor-led workshop?

Attendance in workshops is limited to pre-registered participants. Workshops, along with a link to register online,  are typically advertised in TU Today and listed on the semester calendar (coming soon) on the  Workshops page. Prior to the workshop, you will receive an Outlook invitation with a Zoom link to attend. Please register at least 24 hours prior to the start of the session.

How do I know if my registration has been confirmed?

You will receive an Outlook invitation to attend the workshop, at least 24 hours in advance of the start of the session.

How do I cancel my registration?

Please decline the Outlook invitation or contact Jill Rice, Training and Development Specialist at .

 

 

How frequently are instructor-led workshops scheduled?

Typically, several workshop are scheduled each month throughout the academic year. The frequency of any individual workshop’s schedule will vary based on topic and demand. If you would like to attend a workshop and don’t see it on the schedule, please contact Jill Rice () to request that it be considered for scheduling.

Can you customize a workshop for our department?

Any of our workshops can be customized to meet departmental/work unit needs. Workshops can be tailored for a group’s specific requirements and issues, including a date, time, and location convenient for your work group. We can even identify a professional with an expertise to meet your training needs from internal and external resources.
