Know important deadlines for applications and admission decisions.

These deadlines are for students attending Towson University’s main campus. If you are applying to TU in Northeastern Maryland, please see TU in Northeastern Maryland for specific deadlines and application information.

Term Applicants Deadline
Spring Transfer October 15 (remains open on a space available basis)
Fall Transfer December 1 (Scholarship consideration and Honors College)
Fall Transfer January 15 (Regular Decision) remains open on a space available basis

Scholarship and Honors: All required materials (application, application fee, and transcripts) must be received by December 1 to be eligible for transfer scholarship consideration and the Honors College (if you applied).

If you have already processed a FAFSA to attend another school, call 1-800-4FEDAID and request that your FAFSA results be sent to the Towson University Office of Financial Aid.

Spring Enrollment Contract and $300 nonrefundable fee Refer to date on your Admissions Letter
Spring Housing Application and $350 nonrefundable deposit As soon as possible after admission. Limited space.
Fall Enrollment Contract and $300 nonrefundable fee May 1 (unless otherwise listed on your admissions letter)
Fall Housing Application and $350 nonrefundable deposit May 1 (limited space)
