Many aspect of our lives and a wide range of disciplines are related to the health profession. No matter what your major, you can gain a basic background in health science that you can use in combination in virtually any field of study. To earn a minor in health science, you must complete 21 units with a GPA of 2.00 or higher.
In addition to the four required courses, you must take three additional upper-level electives; two must be from HLTH and one course can be from another discipline. Select your courses in consultation with your minor and major advisors. Additional details about the minor requirements can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog.
Upon declaring your minor, you will receive an email assigning you an advisor in the Health Education and Promotion program. You should contact them with any questions you have.
